Independence Policy

01Scores are not for sale

Whether or how much a company pays has no influence on its rating. Even companies that purchase detailed reports see their ratings go down when they go down. We do not accept "pay to raise your score" deals at any price.

02The formula is fully disclosed

The scoring formula, point allocations, and grade bands are always fully published in the Index itself. Anyone who gathers the same facts can recalculate and verify our ratings. No subjective LLM judgement is used in scoring.

03Measurement and improvement support are separated

The scoring team's decisions are independent of commercial relationships around vendor improvement reports and advisory work. Companies that receive improvement support are re-measured with the same formula and the same data collection methods as everyone else. What we sell is "detailed measurement results and improvement options" — never "a good rating."

04Data provenance is stated

• Publicly verifiable facts (MCP availability, API access, authentication methods) are checked against vendor primary sources (developer documentation, press releases, official help pages), with the verification date stated.
• For measured data, we disclose the collection method (our own probes / external agent reports) and the limits of its scale. While the scale would overstate confidence, we do not publish per-service success-rate figures.
• We never present estimated or synthetic data as measured data.

05Errors are corrected immediately

Reports of factual errors are accepted at contact@synapse-arrows.com and corrected promptly after verification. Corrections are never silent — a correction history remains on the affected page.

06Inclusion is unrelated to commercial relationships

Whether a service is listed, not listed, or out of scope is decided solely by published criteria (the existence of a verifiable developer-facing integration surface). Whether the rated company is a client has no bearing on inclusion. We do not seek prior approval either — making prior approval a condition would destroy the independence of the rating.

07Interests are disclosed

Our company (Synapse Arrows PTE. LTD.) has received no investment from any rated company. If a capital or material commercial relationship with a rated company arises in the future, the affected ratings will state so explicitly.
